Qualifications:

Strong negotiation skills.

Ability to analyze technical and Financial offers.

Good knowledge of industrial materials and equipment (spare parts, maintenance supplies, etc.).

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP is preferred).

Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.

Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Purchasing Operations: Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and convert them into Purchase Orders (PO) in line with approved procedures.

Identify, source, and qualify local suppliers; manage their registration and approval.

Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and conduct both technical and commercial evaluations.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms (pricing, payment conditions, and delivery lead times).

Monitor and follow up on purchase orders through to final delivery.

Supplier Management: Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of local suppliers.

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery reliability, and pricing.

Continuously source alternative suppliers to ensure supply continuity.

Internal Coordination: Collaborate with technical departments (Maintenance, Production, Warehousing) to define specifications and requirements.

Ensure received materials comply with the required specifications and standards.

Financial & Procedural Compliance: Adhere to procurement policies and internal procedures.

Follow up on invoices and ensure alignment with purchase orders.

Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities and cost analysis.

Performance Improvement:

Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.

Propose local alternatives to imported materials whenever feasible.
